Year of the Little Dragon

Coming close to entering this Chinese New Year of the Dragon 2012! 

I am excited for the energy that this special new year brings and especially intrigued for what is to come with my favorite Little Dragon, Yukimi's fashion style, as she express and develops it more and more clearly in her own way.

Check out the interview she did with Elle Magazine talking about her own style and fashion, and her fashion spread here from Complex Magazine. The mix of prints and colors in the photos definitely represent the unexpected I'm always talking about.

I'll be following her style evolution and pretty sure I'm not the only one whose taking notice.

Women's Work Wear

Dakota wedge boots by Frye

Work wear is usually reserved for men's fashion. And a man in a pair of classic work boots will catch my attention every time. This is partly because I love the look of them on a man but also because I have always wished I had a pair of my own.

I have been searching for a pair of men's Red Wing work boots in a small enough size for me to fit for ages with no luck. I had kind of assumed I was going to have to be satisfied with seeing them on my male counter parts until recently I came across the new Frye Dakota work boot for Women...and well...an answer was born.

 I know they are not on first thought the sexiest shoe but I do feel bad ass in menswear...and feeling good is always is sexy in my book.
